A Historic Venue

Originally built in 1733 by the Portuguese Grand Master, Manoel de Vilhena, then bought and embellished by Marquis Giuseppe Scicluna in 1898 – this great house is still privately owned by the Scicluna family and is a glorious showcase of Maltese and Italian craftsmanship at the turn of the 19th century.  The magnificent antique furniture, frescoes and paintings throughout the Palace provide a unique and unforgettable setting for discerning brides.

When you choose Palazzo Parisio for your wedding or wedding reception, you will have total exclusivity.  That means that you will have sole use of this historic Palace and its magnificent gardens for you, your family and your guests – whether there’s a cast of hundreds, or just the two of you.  Choose from the grandeur of the ornate 24-carat gilded and mirrored Ballroom or the surrounding historic rooms, to the beauty of the classic Baroque gardens, which provide the perfect location for summer weddings.   You’ll be spoilt for choice with romantic backdrops for those all-important wedding photos - which can be shot in any part of the Palace or in its extensive gardens.

All catering at the Palace is now handled exclusively by Palazzo Events Ltd – our own recently formed in-house catering company – run by Mrs Christiane Ramsay Scicluna, Baronessina of Tabria in partnership with a tip-top Italian catering organisation.  Our Italian chefs are on hand to create and prepare menus of your choice to the very highest standards. 

Choose from a wonderful selection of canapés and finger food menus for stand-up receptions - and a variety of silver service gala luncheons, dinners or buffet menus.
