Marriage Registry fees


When submitting your request for the publication of banns, you are required to pay in advance a fee for the services rendered by the Marriage Registry.  This fee is not refundable in the event of cancellation of the marriage.
 






These are the respective fees...
 
Religious Marriages
Both spouses resident in Malta  -  €23.29
One/Both spouses resident abroad  -  €46.59
 
Civil Marriages

 
When you get married, you may qualify for the payment of a grant provided that on the marriage date, you satisfy certain contributory conditions.  Click here for more info regarding the marriage grant.
