HOW MUCH ALCOHOL IS ENOUGH?
People generally drink more in the evening, with the first hour being the heaviest in terms of alcohol consumption. Allow two to three cocktails per person.
A one-liter bottle of hard liquor makes approximately fifteen to eighteen drinks.
Popular liquor you should consider stocking: vodka, gin, sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, scotch, bourbon, whiskey, rum, and teqilla.
You should allow one bartender for fifteen guests.
Allow two to three drinking glasses per person.
One case of champagne equals seventy-five drinks.
Allow one and a half cases per one hundred guests for toast only or three cases per one hundred guests for continuous service.
One bottle of wine equals six drinks.
Generally the white wine to red wine ration is two to one.
Beer drinkers will consume four bottles on average.
